Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre

Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre, located on 108 acres of land, is one of the most comprehensive single-site recreation centres in North America, offering a wide variety of facilities.

The Centre includes an array of indoor and outdoor facilities including a 25 metre 8-lane indoor swimming pool, a weight room, 8 sheets of curling ice, an outdoor velodrome, beach volleyball courts, and a BMX track.

The Centre also includes the 2,300 seat Bear Mountain Arena which is home to the Victoria Grizzlies Junior 'A' hockey team, the Victoria Shamrocks of the Western Lacrosse Association and the Junior 'A' Shamrocks. The Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre is a 20 minute drive from downtown Victoria and a 10 minute drive to the Westin Bear Mountain Resort and Bear Mountain Golf and Country Club.
