Our winter climate provides plenty of snow and average temperatures ranging from -5 to -13 degress Celsius. Average summer temperatures range from 7 to 20 degrees Celsius. These temperatures provide the optimum conditions for various sporting events and training opportunities.

First class facilities available include an outdoor 400m ice oval, 6000 seat arena with international ice capabilities, outdoor 400m track and field stadium, aquatic centre with towers up to 10m, a sport centre which hosts 3 gymnasiums and a track and field house with 2 artificial turf fields and an indoor running track; in addition, a cross-country ski and biathlon facility, soccer pitches, golf courses, curling rink, baseball and slo-pitch diamonds, arenas and gymnasiums are also available.

Volunteers, coaches, officials and the sporting organizations of Prince George are committed to host world class events and are known to go above and beyond any participants expectations. Our experience includes events ranging from Regional to National events that have occurred during all four seasons.   • Prince George Citizen Field is a national standard baseball facility with all the expected amenities to host world class events. Built in 2006, the facility has some very unique features including the “Green Monster”, a 17 foot wall in left field.
  • The Prince George Aquatic Centre is a one of kind facility in the Province of British Columbia. This first class national standard facility is the only aquatic facility with a 10m diving tower in addition to the 5m and 7.5m diving towers.
  • Soccer facilities in Prince George receive high accolades after every event. The first class facilities are unique in that there are 13 fields in one location of which 6 are lit.
  • The Prince George Gymnastics Club has a training facility that is unique for British Columbia due to its size and layout. The 16,000 square foot space is fully equipped with all of the required apparatus including a pit.
  • Masich Place Stadium was built in 1990 for the BC Summer Games and is home of the Prince George Track and Field Club. This state of the art national standard facility is located in the heart of the City and will exceed any event and training needs.
