The 3,600 square foot Abbotsford Judo Club provides a venue where athletes are able to train to compete in National and International events. Many of the club's students have competed in National and International Events, bringing home medals and trophies.
The club also hosts several tournaments and competitions, as well as the annual Fraser Valley International. This tournament is well known for its excellence due to the superb effort of club members and volunteers.

Abbotsford's winters are cool, averaging around 2.5° Celsius in January and February, but relatively mild compared to most of Canada. The average daily high in the summer is 23.8° Celsius, but temperatures over 30° Celsius are not uncommon.
