The Bear Mountain Arena is a 2,300 seat facility which is home to the Victoria Grizzlies Junior 'A' hockey team, the Victoria Shamrocks of the Western Lacrosse Association and the Junior 'A' Shamrocks.
Since 2006 the arena has annually hosted one of the biggest World Curling Tour events, the Bear Mountain Curling Classic. It also played host to the training camps of the Vancouver Canucks in September 2007 as well as the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2008.
The Bear Mountain Arena is part of the Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre which is one of the most comprehensive single-site recreation centres in North America, offering a wide variety of facilities and programs. To learn more about the Juan de Fuca Rec Centre please visit
