Callaghan Country Trails
Callaghan Country is located near Whistler Olympic Park, just 13 km south of Whistler off Highway 99, and offers remote access cross-country skiing along with a backcountry skiing wilderness retreat. There are 42 km of track designed for Nordic skiing. Trails are track-set for classic skiing; skate skiing is sometimes an option, depending on weather and trail conditions.

Whistler's coastal location makes for moderate temperatures in the valley. Average temperatures in Whistler Valley can range through the summer months from 9 Celsius (48 Fahrenheit) to 27 Celsius (81 Fahrenheit). Average temperatures in the alpine during the summer months can range from -1Celsius (30 Fahrenheit) to 16 Celsius (61 Fahrenheit).
