Named for the nearby Provincial Park and its lakes, the Champion Lakes Golf Course has, appropriately, three small ponds at the centre of the course. These ponds are replicas of the much larger lakes to the northwest.
The Champion Lakes Golf Course always has a warm welcome to visitors starting with the friendly staff of our well-equipped Pro Shop.
The course’s 9 holes play through a narrow valley populated by a thick forest of trees. Some of these trees were incorporated into the course’s layout, causing difficult lies if you stray into the rough too far. Otherwise, Champion Lakes’ fairways are wide and rolling, with few surprises.
The Eagle’s Nest Restaurant at the Champion Lakes Golf Course is the perfect place to meet before, or after, your game. Enjoy the warm and friendly atmosphere where everyone really does know your name. Marilyn and her staff welcome all guests with a refreshing beverage and a fantastic variety of menu items.
The large deck area overlooks the No. 5, Par 3, as well as the No. 9 Green. With indoor seating accommodating 40 and the outdoor deck area seating 60, our restaurant provides a full service breakfast, lunch and dinner menu to golf members and non-members.
A full banquet menu is available for social events, fundraisers or tournaments or just getting together with friends. Whatever the event, a delicious meal awaits.
