Columbia Place features two full-sized collegiate courts, seating for 1,300+ fans, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, changerooms, Athletic Therapy room, classrooms and administrative offices. Columbia Place is an ideal facility for athletic competitions, having already hosted an international basketball game, numerous conference games and several Provincial and Regional Championships.

Columbia Place is located on the Columbia Bible College campus which is a member of several athletic leagues and organizations at both the local and national level. These leagues and organizations include: Fraser Valley Soccer League (FVSL), British Columbia College Athletic Association (BCCAA), and Canadian College Athletic Association (CCAA).

The College also opperates as a Conference & Retreat Centre. The Conference Centre would be pleased to provide facilities and services for athletic groups. Their guests can expect to receive exemplary service from the Centre's qualified, professional staff and diners will enjoy outstanding meals prepared by their Executive Chef. Overnight guests will enjoy comfortable accomodations on the campus and they also offer numerous meeting spaces.

Tourism Abbotsford, through the development and implementation of our Sport Town Canada Brand, has identified sport tourism and sport hosting a primary focus of our community. We are anxious to assist you in determining whether your event is a good "fit" for our community, facilities and available services. We can provide assistance in a number of ways:

Abbotsford's winters are cool, averaging around 2.5° Celsius in January and February, but relatively mild compared to most of Canada. The average daily high in the summer is 23.8° Celsius, but temperatures over 30° Celsius are not uncommon.
