Envision Athletics Centre

The Envision Athletics Centre is a 21,500 square foot athletics facility located on the campus of the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV). With retractable seating for up to 1,500 spectators and state-of-the-art competition facilities, UFV’s new athletics centre is the largest gymnasium facility in the region.

The new, larger venue means UFV has the capacity to host major events, such as exhibition games with familiar college names from the NCAA. (Currently, the largest gym in the region holds only 1,400 spectators and is over 30 years old.)

Tourism Abbotsford, through the development and implementation of our Sport Town Canada Brand, has identified sport tourism and sport hosting a primary focus of our community. We are anxious to assist you in determining whether your event is a good "fit" for our community, facilities and available services. We can provide assistance in a number of ways:

- Joint Bid Preparation and Bid Support
- Volunteers
- Provide financial and in-kind support
- Provide visitor services before, during and after the event
- Assist with measuring the economic impact of the event
