The Fox Mountain trail network is legally designated for mountain bike use through section 56 of the Forest and Range Practices Act and is government by the Trail Partnership Agreement between the Williams Lake Cycling Club and the Ministry of Natural Resource Operations.
The network is comprised of 49 KM of single track trails. The difficulty distribution of the trail network is 23% Beginner, 37% Intermediate and 40% Advanced. The network can service a range of event type including cross country, enduro and downhill races.

The network has been in existence for over 15 years and has been host to a range of events in the past. In 2010 upon the legalization of the network a downhill race was officially held. The event had 110 participants. Events planned for 2011 include a downhill race, and super-downhill race and a series of XC races.
Williams Lake enjoys a dry climate year round with four distinct seasons that result in outstanding recreational opportunities of every kind within minutes of the city limits.
