Previously the George Preston Recreation Centre has been used for winter sports including Canadian favourites like hockey, curling and figure skating; recently it has also been used during the summer as a dry surface for lacrosse, roller hockey and ball hockey. The ice arena can seat 1000 spectators.
This facility includes six curling surfaces and a seasonal ice or dry arena.
This facility also has banquet facilities (up to 400 ppl), curling pro shop to supply any curling needs, licensed restaurant and lounge and meeting rooms.
