The Olympic-size, 50-metre, eight-lane pool features an adjustable floor and two bulkheads and on-deck seating for 400 spectators. It allows for a variety of activities and events including: length swimming with starting blocks, electronic timing and scoreboard; aquatic specialty courses such as lifeguard and instructor training, scuba diving, underwater hockey, kayaking, water safety programs and triathlon training; springboard diving with two 1-metre and two 3-metre boards and a 3.3-metre depth; and, synchronized swimming with ample deck space and underwater sound system.

H2O's largest fitness space in the Okanagan Valley features: 930 square metres of cardio machines, free weights and training space; 186 square metres of studio space for fitness and wellness classes; and, state-of-the-art equipment including Kinesis Wall with 400 movements and 250 exercises, cardio machines with televisions or i-Pod hookups and virtual reality bikes and cardio and strength equipment that is adaptable for disabled users and rehabilitation. Facility complements Pinnacle Elite Athlete in Capital News Centre.

Support amenities indude: Adjustable pool floor allows shallow depths for learn-to-swim programs and splash dances; multi-purpose meeting room with child-minding service; healthy food service by Jugo Juice with on-deck and lobby service; and, building and pools are fully accessible to the disabled, including specialized change rooms, ramp accesses and moveable lift for disabled pool users; spacious family, men's and women's change rooms with 22 private shower stalls. Located next to Capital News Centre with its two NHL-size arenas and two indoor turf field.

H2O Adventure and Fitness Centre offers a variety of programs through the YMCA-YWCA of the Central Okanagan.
