Hosting BC Grant Program

The Province of BC through the Ministry of Community, Sport and Cultural Development invests in event hosting and the Hosting BC program to facilitate sport, economic, social, and community development. This builds on the success of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, maintaining BC’s profile and reputation as an exceptional major event host.

Since 2004, close to $3.7 million hass been invested in 432 sport events in communities across BC developing a legacy of sport hosting expertise.

Successful recipients of Hosting BC funding are listed in the documents found in the column on the right.
