The Kelowna Curling Club (KCC) features 12 sheets of curling ice available each year between October and March. The club plays host to a variety of annual bonspiels and major events such as the 2008 BC Junior Championships, the 2006 BC Senior Championships and the 2002 World Junior Championships. The KCC also supports athletes such as 2006 Paralympic gold medallists Gerry Austgarden and Sonya Gaudet and Kelly Scott's 2007 Women's World Champions.
The KCC greatly improved its accessibility in 2008 by installing an elevator and renovating washroom facilities on both floors. It also added windows to its upstairs lounge. There are three dressing rooms, a media area and office space. The club has space for more than 1,000 spectators.
As a full-service club, the KCC offers curlers and spectators an affordably priced, extensive menu from its on-site kitchen. KCC offers a comfortable, licensed lounge with billiards, shuffleboard, a sound system and television, video games and a bird's-eye view of all the on-ice action.
The KCC remains busy in the off-season with bookings for special events and trade shows in Kelowna. Its ample parking, central location and on-site services make it an ideal venue for curling and non-curling events alike. The club is conveniently located in Kelowna's downtown Recreation Park, approximately 20 minutes from Kelowna International Airport.
