Killarney Community Centre complex offers many potential hosting and training opportunities. Killarney’s rink can host hockey, figure skating, and ringette events or be used as a training facility (as it is for short-track speed skating during the Olympic Games). Its 25m lap pool can serve as an aquatic training facility for athletes, while the newly updated fitness centre and dance studio can also provide additional space for training and sporting event needs. Moreover, the outdoor track, soccer, baseball and softball fields can accommodate events in each of their respective sports. Lastly, the community centre has a number of multipurpose spaces available to host social events and related festivities.
