Located within the town limits, the ski trails are groomed regulary for skate skiing and classic skiing. Many of the trails are 9.0m wide allowing both skate skiing and classic skiing to be done on the same trails. Spectacular views of the lake and mountains beyond can be seen from the strategically placed warming cabins.
2.5km of ski trails are lit to provide night time training sessions. Season runs from November to April.
The ski trails join with the 10km of groomed community trails located in the John Dahl Regional Park behind the Mackenzie Recreation Centre.
World Cup standard 5.0km ski trail circuit enhances the training opportunities for all skill levels.
Average snowfall is over 10 feet annually. Season runs from November to April.
