Newton Athletic Park



Newton Athletic Park is designed to meet the training and tournament host needs of any high-calibre soccer or softball event. The park has hosted numerous provincial, national and international events including the 2006 Canadian Senior Soccer Nationals.

First acquired in 1968, this park has been completely developed to include 2 artificial turf fields (built in 2003 and 2008), 7 soccer fields, 6 softball diamonds and 8 tennis courts. Other amenities include 2 playgrounds, 3 picnic areas with shelters, a pavilion with change rooms and washrooms, 4 all-weather playing fields, 5 mini soccer fields and walking paths.
