The Otway Nordic Centre provides 30kms of outstanding international level homologated trails, 5kms of lit trails, a 20-lane shooting range with plans for expansion, a brand new on-site lodge complete with all of the amenities, change rooms, washrooms and the capacity for a large spectator area. The facility is groomed with two Piston Bully groomers owned by the club.
The 4768 square foot heated lodge also has an 8 foot wide deck on two sides, gas fireplace and waxing area. A second cabin is located at the biathlon range and is also heated.
The facility is located minutes from downtown Prince George.
Annual snowfall in Prince George is 156.62cm and is at an elevation of 691.3 providing perfect training conditions.
The Otway Nordic Centre is also used during the summer months for walking and biking.

Our winter climate provides plenty of snow and average temperatures ranging from -5 to -13 degrees Celsius. Average summer temperatures range from 7 to 20 degrees Celsius. These temperatures provide the optimum conditions for various sporting events and training opportunities.
