Powell River Recreation Complex

The Powell River Recreation Complex is a multi-purpose, multi-sport complex in the heart of the city. Situated within walking distance of the hospital, hotels, shopping and restaurants, the "Complex" is a hub for activity.

The facility houses a 25m pool, weight room and fitness room, two side-by-side NHL-size ice surfaces, a performing arts theatre, banquet rooms and many smaller meeting rooms. Outside of the facility you are surrounded by a beautiful natural tree and bush park which has many walking and jogging trails weaving there way through the park, making it a perfect setting for cross training and cardio workouts.

Originally built in the mid 1970's, this facility has undergone two major retrofits in it's lifetime, ensuring that it is up-to-date.
