Prospera Place

Prospera Place is a multi-use arena located in the heart of Kelowna and features an NHL-size ice surface with seating for 6,000 spectators or 8,000 during concerts.

The facility features 31 private luxury suites just 16 rows above the playing surface and offers great sight lines from each of the 6,007 seats, including 250 in the full-service Manhattan Point restaurant and bar. Prospera Place provides access and amenities for persons with disabilities and, in addition to designated parking and seating, Prospera offers three public-access elevators.

Prospera Place also features a centre-hung, four-sided, one-colour matrix reader board (full text programmable) and hockey score clock.

Prospera provides five dressing rooms with access to the ice surface which is maintained by two 520-model Zamboni ice resurfacers. It has been the site of the 2004 MasterCard Canadian Hockey League Memorial Cup, 2005 Hockey Canada Men's National Team Training Camp, 2006 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship and opening and closing ceremonies for the 2008 BC Summer Games. More than just a hockey arena, Prospera also hosts other sporting events such as indoor rodeo, basketball, volleyball, tennis, figure skating and wrestling. Prospera also has a homasote ice deck which covers 17,000 square feet.

Prospera Place is conveniently located near Kelowna's waterfront beaches and parks, casino, convention facilities, restaurants and major hotels. Beyond the 500 on-site parking stalls, there are 1,700 public parking spaces within a five-minute walk of the venue and 2,500 within a 10-minute walk. Prospera is only a 20-minute drive from Kelowna International Airport.
