The South Surrey Recreation Centre is an eco-friendly state-of-the-art recreation facility with over 35,000 square feet of space. It has the ability to host multiple sports in the 14,000 sq ft gymnasium or in the six multipurpose rooms.

Opened in fall 2005, this multi-purpose facility has two national caliber gymnasiums, a 1500 sq. ft. fitness/dance studio with a wood-sprung floor, 35,000 sq. ft. of programming space and 7 multipurpose rooms.

Located in South Surrey Athletic Park, the rec centre is surrounded by forests and athletic fields. It is also next to the South Surrey Arena, Softball City, and near the South Surrey Indoor Pool.
