Operated by a not for profit society with a membership of over 1700, the Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre (SLNC) is located in Silver Star Provincial Park, 20 km from Vernon, BC. With a 7 month season and elevation of 1664m or 5500ft ASL, many international teams choose SLNC as THE place to train in early season or prior to major international events like the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. In addition to our exceptional trails, SLNC is also world-renowned for early season skiing, plentiful snowfall and hosting World Class events. In 2005 we hosted an XC Ski World Cup race and hosted the 2011 Sparkling Hill Masters World Cup.
