Third Street Sports Zone Fields



The Nanaimo Third Street Sports Zone Fields feature three junior baseball diamonds, one senior baseball diamond, two FIFA regulation soccer pitches, a track & field stadium, batting cage and field hockey/lacrosse nets. A recently completed field house overlooks the complex and provides both meeting and viewing space, along with change rooms and concessions.

The Sports Zone Fields are located adjacent to a twin ice arena, an indoor aquatics centre (50m pool), dormitory style accommodation at Vancouver Island University (summer months) and walking trails. The Sports Zone is less then a minute drive off of the Trans Canada Highway and a five minute drive into the downtown core.
