Whistler Cross Country Mountain Bike Trails

South side trails are defined by the watershed of the Cheakamus River up to the head water of Cheakamus Lake. There is a mix of trails from flowing forest single track, technical single track along the Cheakamus river, long brake burning technical descents and 3 hour double track cruises down to the beautiful Brandywine waterfall. Trails include: Whistler Interpretive Forest, Cheakamus Lake, Brandywine falls, Trash, Tunnel Vision, Riverside & Farside, See Colours and Puke, and Babylon By Bike.

North side offers fantastic technical riding incorporating natural terrain features and some great epic rides. The Backyard features a number of interlinked trails that offer a great close proximity playground to hone those bike handling skills. Kill Me Thrill Me is a signature trail for all that is Whistler. It showcases some of the worlds best technical XC trail building. Soo Valley loop is one of our favourite training rides and features amazing views. It offers a climb up out the back of Cougar Mountain and steadily descends back down to the highway. Trails include: The Backyard, Kill me Thrill me, Soo Valley Loop, Show Lakes Ancient Cedars, and Green Lake Loop.

The west side trails are defined by the trails west off the highway and Alta Lake. Whistler’s most ridden signature trail 'River' offers a fun and challenging ride for all levels. Obstacles, bridges, ramps, and drops provide a great freeride learning ground. A number of logging road trails with steady climbs and smooth descents provide a great area for getting back into your riding. Lung busting switchback climbs and super long descents from the Flank trail are challenging. Towards Function Junction, the trails become technical with some very difficult slick rock and natural feature sections. Trails include: Bobs Rebob, Whip Me Snip Me, Bart's Dark Trail, A River Runs Through It, Emerald Forest, Mel’s Dilemma, The Flank Trail, Cheap Thrills, Industrial Disease, and Billy Epic.
